2016 Empties!!

Hello lovelies! To keep this post from getting too long, I won’t be sharing my thoughts on everything. Even if I split this up into multiple posts it would still be quite lengthy. I’m going to go through by category. If you have any questions about an item, ask in the comments and I’ll share my thoughts there.

See you in my next post!

December Play! by Sephora Unboxing

Hello lovelies! Today I’m bringing you the final Sephora Play! unboxing for 2016. December’s box theme is The Partygoers. First of all this bag is so cute. I love the black bag with the rose gold print and ribbon. Let’s dive in to the box.

Products

drybar Bay Breeze Hydrating Shot; set of 4 Retails $38

Make Up For Ever Step 1 Skin Equalizer Smoothing Primer; Retails $37

Bobbi Brown Smokey Eye Mascara; Retails $30

Sephora Cream Lip Stain in Always Red; Retails $14

Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray; Retails: $31

Elizabeth and James Nirvana Bourbon; Retails: $85

That is everything that came in my December Play box. I’m very excited for this box. I feel like I say that for every box, but I think for the first time I LOVE the perfume bonus. My boyfriend was over when I opened this box and he sprayed it on himself. I was shocked and yelled what are you doing? That’s a perfume! Strangely enough it worked on him and didn’t smell too feminine on him. This scent is intoxicating and addicting. It is a little sweet, a little bold, has a warm scent and a little woody. The Urban Decay setting spray I already own and know that I love. The drybar Hydrating shot is something my hair is in desperate need of. I just wish that one bottle wasn’t a single use. I’m still on the hunt for the perfect primer for my skin. As far as the mascara, I’m always looking to try out mascaras. The lip product, I love the color red, but I’m not very brave to wear it all the time. I’m hoping to wear this one and the others that I own all at least once in the next couple of weeks.

That’s all for today. I hope that you enjoyed this post. Is anyone else subscribed to this box? What are your thoughts?

November Play! by Sephora Unboxing

Hello lovelies! This post is going up much earlier than expected because well I got my box earlier than expected. I remember watching a YouTube video or reading someone’s blog months and months ago about how receiving a subscription box is like opening presents on Christmas morning. Let me tell you, it totally is!

This month’s box theme is Best in Glow. All products will make you skin and features glow. I’m very excited to try out this month’s product.

October Play! by Sephora Unboxing

Hello lovelies! I didn’t want to skip showing you my October box, and I figured I would put this post up now before it got too late. Once again technology hasn’t been my friend and unfortunately I’m not sure how many more times this is going to happen. One day I will be able to get a new computer and most problems will be solved. I know that I have said about previous boxes that I am really excited about a few items that I received, but this months box, I absolutely LOVE everything that I got. First I didn’t receive the standard 5 items plus a perfume sample, I received 6! Yes, you read that correctly 6. I got 2 of one of the products. I’ll let you know further down which one I got 2 of. Did this happen to any one else?

I can’t wait to try out the hair mask and the face gel. The second Flash Photo Gloss I’m going to give to someone in their stocking for Christmas. I love that Sephora included a lip color that could work on just about anyone

September Play! by Sephora Unboxing

Hello lovelies! If you saw my last post you know how excited I am to clear out the items that no longer brings me joy. As you can tell by the title this post is quite the opposite. I think I have said in one of my previous posts that receiving the Play box is like my monthly shopping trip, and I don’t even have to leave my house! September’s theme is The Unbasic Basics. As I looked at the products, I didn’t quite understand the theme, but then it suddenly hit me. It’s the perfect set of products for a quick and out the door look. For this box I’m going to list the products in order that you would use them.

PRODUCTS

Living Proof Perfect Hair Day night cap overnight perfector (use the night before) Retails: $28

Ole Henriksen Sheer Transformation Retails: $38

Kat Von D Tattoo Liner in Trooper Retails: $20

Anastasia Clear Brow Gel Retails: $22

Sephora Rouge Shine Lipstick in No. 14 Love Spell Retails: $12.50

Atelier Cologne Collection Azur-Sud Magnolia Retails: $125

That’s everything that came in my box this month. I think that you can use every single one of these products as a quick 5 minute look. Of course you may want to include your own concealer and/or mascara. This is a good foundation for a no-makeup makeup look. I’m excited to use the Ole Henriksen moisturizer and the Kat Von D Tattoo liner. I have the ink liner and I would love to compare the two. Hope you all are having a great start to your week! See you in my next post!
