Hello lovelies! So today I’m giving you the last update on my Project Pan. Let me get the bad news out of the way first. I did not reach my goal of finishing 10 out of the 15 products that I chose. I believe that I chose too many challenging items to try and complete in the time frame that I gave myself. On the other hand I think I balanced it out with enough products that I would be able or should have finished. Although I was not successful, I learned a lot about the way I use items. I am looking forward to do many more project pans. So let me go through everything.
Vaseline Spray & Go Moisturizer
It’s a 10 Leave-In Conditioner
Garnier Blackhead Eliminating Scrub
Blistex Silk & Shine
Tree Hut Shea Sugar Scrub in Tropical Mango
Buxom Full-On Lip Creme in White Russian
Clinique Pep-Start Eye Cream
Nivea Lip Butter (Lost it)
Clarins Mission Perfection Serum
NYX Butter Gloss in Creme Brulee
Aussie Sprunch Spray
Nowhere Close to Being Finished
Matrix Silk Wonder Smoothing Oil
Marc Jacobs Dot
Aussie Heat Protecting Shine Spray
Smashbox Limitless Eyeliner in Onyx
That is everything! This brings my first Project Pan to a close. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend. See you in my next post!
Hello lovelies! I didn’t want to skip showing you my October box, and I figured I would put this post up now before it got too late. Once again technology hasn’t been my friend and unfortunately I’m not sure how many more times this is going to happen. One day I will be able to get a new computer and most problems will be solved. I know that I have said about previous boxes that I am really excited about a few items that I received, but this months box, I absolutely LOVE everything that I got. First I didn’t receive the standard 5 items plus a perfume sample, I received 6! Yes, you read that correctly 6. I got 2 of one of the products. I’ll let you know further down which one I got 2 of. Did this happen to any one else?
Christophe Robin Regenerating Hair Mask; Retails: $71
Erborian Bamboo Frappee Skin Reviving Fresh Gel; Retails: $43
The Estee Edit Flash Photo Gloss; Retails: $20 (I GOT 2!)
Farmacy Skin Dew Hydrating Essence Mist & Setting Spray; Retails: $44
Smashbox Always On Liquid Lipstick in Driver’s Seat; Retails: $24
Yves Saint Laurent Mon Paris; Retails: $92
This box has been by far my favorite box I received. The perfume sample, I actually smelled right away when I opened my box and it smells amazing and lasts all day on the skin. I can’t wait to try out the hair mask and the face gel. The second Flash Photo Gloss I’m going to give to someone in their stocking for Christmas. I love that Sephora included a lip color that could work on just about anyone
Hello lovelies! Today I am updating you on the products that I have been using as part of my very first project pan. I’m just going to say it…I am horrible at using the things that I own, especially when it comes to hair products. I do have to say that I have done a little better than the last month. I have made some more progress on a few items. There are no new products that I finished.
To review, I have finished the Vaseline Spray & Go in cocoa radiant and the Garnier Blackhead Eliminating Scrub.
I’m almost done with the Aussie Sprunch Spray, NYX butter gloss in creme brulee, Blistex Silk n Shine lip balm, Tree Hut Shea Sugar Scrub in Tropical Mango, and the Smashbox eyeliner in Onyx.
The rest of the items, will hopefully be done by the end of the year. I have made a little progress on the Marc Jacobs perfume and it’s a 10 leave in conditioner. The Buxom lip gloss, I have used easily 10 times in the last month and there is hardly any progress. It looks as if I haven’t used it at all.
That is all for this update. I will hopefully have used up a few more items in my next update. The goal is to use up at least 10 of the 15 products by the end of the year. I am on a no buy as well til next year. Bring on the hauls in 2017! I hope you enjoyed this little update. Have a great day and see you in my next post!
Hello lovelies! Happy Labor day! I have to be honest, when I started this project, I was extremely determined and motivated. I have not purchased anything new, but I haven’t made the greatest effort in trying to use up the products. This is also why I have given myself until the end of the year to finish 10 out of 15 items.
First off, my Rimmel soft kohl eye pencil went missing after a week or so. It has been replaced by my Smashbox Limitless Eyeliner in Onyx. I originally received this in a Smashbox sample set. Like the Rimmel eyeliner, I’ve had this for well over 2 years.
I have used up my Garnier Blackhead Eliminating Scrub. I definitely loved using this and plan on purchasing it in the full size soon. My skin has been acting up a bit, but think it is due to me working out and sweating more.
The above products are almost gone and I’m definitely working on using them up. When I saw that my first update was quickly approaching, I became motivated to use everything again. The few products that are almost gone I truly love them and using them. That is my progress of my products. I am hoping that I will use up more items in the next month. Once again I am hoping to use up at least 10 out of 15 of these products, before I purchase anything just for the sake of buying it. Have any of you started a project pan? What is out there or coming out soon that I should get my hands on? Have a great week!
Hello lovelies! Before we get too far into August I want to share with you everything that came in this months Play box. I love the hot pink popsicle on the little bag. I’m really excited about this box. There are definitely a couple of products that I’ve been wanting to try out.
Nest Citrine .04 oz.- Full Size 1.7 Retails: $68
First Aid Beauty 1.0 oz.- Full Size 4.7 oz. Retails: $24
OUAI wave spray 1.7 oz.- this size Retails: $12
Smashbox Photo Finish Pore Minimizing Primer .25 oz- Full Size Retails: $39
Blotterazzi by Beautyblender w/ liquid cleanser sample 1 sponge- 2 sponges Retails: $20
Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Matte Bronzer- Full Size Retails: $30
That’s everything that came in my July box. I love that the Blotterazzi also included a sample of the liquid cleanser, so its kind of like you get a 2-in-1 product. I also really love that the OUAI way spray came in a size that is actually sold in Sephora stores. I’m excited to try out the Too Faced bronzer and First Aid Beauty cleanser. If you want me to also include what each item would actually cost if it were sold in stores, let me know. Have a great week! See you in my next post!
