5 Favorite Fall Nail Colors

Hello lovelies! Today I’m sharing with you my favorite nail colors for this fall. I know I have done this type of post the last couple of years, but I figured things change, trends change, and I really like buying nail polish.  A couple of the colors you’ve seen in past seasonal favorite nail posts, and the others are brand new. So to prevent this post from getting too long, let’s jump in.

First up is a repeat offender. It is OPI’s Brisbane Bronze. I know I’ve told you all about this shade before. I love it, I use it every fall and in fact it is currently on my toes. It is the perfect sparkly brown, coppery, bronze shade.

Then we have the Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear polish in 622 Retro Grade. It is a grey that is more on the mid-dark side. It is a creme formula, and if you’re in a hurry you can get away with just doing one coat. This shade is perfect for all year round or if you’re tide to dark shades in the fall and winter and bright/light shades in the spring and summer, it works as a great transition color between summer and fall.

Then we have the Covergirl Outlast Stay Brilliant nail gloss(polish) in Sapphire Flare. I believe this shade is also a repeat offender. It is a beautiful dark blue in a creme formula. Its a great neutral option and can still come off as a professional color and not an inappropriate color for the office.

The last two shades are definitely on the darker side. The first one is Carry On by Essie. It is a deep purple almost an eggplant shade. This again is a creme formula. I think there is a theme here with the exception of the first polish. I love creme formula nail polishes. Again because the shade is on the darker side, it is work appropriate, or can be used for a more formal occasion. The last shade is a cult favorite, and really what got me into darker nail colors. It is OPI’s Lincoln Park After Dark. This is my absolute favorite fall/winter shade. I know I’ve shared this shade with you before, and the reason why it keeps popping up is because I really do love the color and the formula. It is a deep, deep dark purple that looks almost black. Once again another creme formula.

That’s everything! Those are my 5 favorite nail colors for fall. What are your favorites? Do you favor creme or glittery formulas? Any colors or brands or formulas I should try out? What would you like to see next? Clothing haul? Random fall favorites? A daily routine? Leave your suggestions in the comments. Have a great day and see you in my next post!

My Favorite Holiday Reds

Hello lovelies! Welcome to day 8 of Blogmas! Today I’m sharing with you my favorite Holiday shades of red.

First up are my two current favorite shirts for the season. A red plaid with a gold stripe button down shirt from the Ava and Viv line at Target. A shirt like this is great for a casual look paired with jeans and boots. The second shirt is a red berry toned sweater/sweatshirt for Lane Bryant. The pattern on the sleeves and front of the shirt is a brighter and shiny tone of the rest of the shirt. It can be dressed up with black pants and heeled boots or dressed down a bit with jeans and flats. For a third option you can pair it with a pair of black leggings and fuzzy socks for lounging around the house.

The rest of the items are my favorite. It’s a combination of lip products and nail polish, and one candle. We have:

Rimmel Show Off Lip Velvet Matte in Burning Lava

Flower Nail Polish in Budding Romance

Maybelline ColorSensational in Summer Sunset

Butter London Nail Polish in Saucy Jack

Bath and Body Works Candle in ‘Tis the Season

Rimmel Lasting Finish Lipstick in Jet Set Red

Essie Nail Polish in Leading Lady

Nars Velvet Lip Pencil in Cruella

I wanted to try out something kind of new. I hope everyone’s week is going well and I will see you all in my next post.

Favorite Spring Nail Colors

Hi lovelies! Today I’m sharing my favorite go to nail colors for this spring. I have definitely put a ban on purchasing anymore nail polishes than I already have. My go to shades are definitely on the more neutral and pastel side.

Mani Monday: Fall Nail Polishes

This week’s post is all about some of my favorite fall nail colors. I’ve chosen a variety of shades, some may not be expected. However, I feel like if you want to have bright neon nails and it is November go for it! If you want to wear a deep berry tone in July, why not?

  1. Rimmel Lasting Pro Finish in Steel Grey(270)- I love this shade because it is a purple-y toned grey.
  2. O.P.I in Brisbane Bronze- I love this shade because it is the perfect shade for fall. It’s also great for a special occasion and of course a little extra sparkle.
  3. CoverGirl Outlast Stay Brilliant in Sapphire Flare(307)- First I love this formula! The color is a gorgeous deep, not quite navy blue. It is a creme formula and looks classy and elegant on the nail.
  4. Essie in Berry Naughty- I love this brown toned berry. It’s gorgeous for fall and winter. I like this more in the fall because it is the stepping stone for the richer toned reds and berrys that come with the holiday territory.
  5. Essie in The Girls Are Out- Yes, I have included a pinky purpley shade in the group. While it is on the brighter side, I think the creme with just a hint of shimmer in it is perfect for a fall day. It is not a traditional shade, but it is fun for exactly the name of the color, a girls night out!
  6. CoverGirl Glossy Days glosstini in #ElectroGlow(660)- This is the traffic cone orange from a previous Mani Monday post. I love the formula, plus the color is the epitome of fall.

Those are my picks for this fall. What are some of your favorite fall shades? Do you have a favorite formula/brand? Share them below! I would love to hear!
