Sephora, Target, Bath and Body Works Haul

Hi friends! Yesterday I shared with you my shopping tips. I also began my Christmas shopping and I thought I would share a few things that I picked up. Don’t worry none of them will be reading this post, the surprise won’t be ruined!

I’m going to start with the newest member of the family. My adorable nephew, who will be three months old by the time Christmas comes around. I highly suggest checking out Target for great clothing options for a great price. I picked up two little outfits for him. Both have onesies with a pair of pants with them. One outfit was $14.99 and the other was $16.99, with the Cartwheel App, I got an additional 30% off. If you haven’t downloaded the app, I think you should.

For my mother, my sister and I picked up the Anastasia of Beverly Hills Self-Made Palette and the travel size of the Benefit They’re Real mascara. I know it isn’t good to share eye makeup products, but if I can I will try and do a swatch and review after Christmas.

For a coworker, I picked up the Twisted Peppermint body cream. She loves this scent and has it in a smaller size. Now this I actually picked up for free with purchase. I had a coupon from a mailer that had an offer for a free Signature Collection Item up to a $13 value. My sister picked up four scentportable refills for her car. They had the 2 for $6 or 4 for $10 deal going on.

I also picked up a backup of the Becca by Jaclyn Hill highlighter in Champagne Pop. I know my first one will last me absolutely forever, but I’m absolutely blown away by it. I fell in love with highlighters and can’t wait to try others. I also picked up a new 2016 planner from Target. Not pictured: a free panty from Victoria’s Secret and a box of popcorn.

I hope you enjoyed my haul. If you want to see more of what I pick up through the holiday season. Let me know! I hope this gives you a couple of gift ideas. Have a fantastic Sunday!

October Favorites

Welcome to my October favorites! October was a pretty busy month for me. I was very quick and simple with my routine. I have a few items that I want to share, that were easy to make myself feel a little more put together.

You’ve seen me mention the Revlon Nearly Naked foundation. It naturally evens out my skin tone, while it doesn’t always cover up blemishes or scars, I am happy with the coverage. It also doesn’t cake up or wear off throughout the day.

My Nars duo with Orgasm blush and Laguna bronzer, is by far my holy grail product. I have put quite a dent into Laguna, I’m about to hit pan. I am excited about that because I’ve never hit pan on anything before! Orgasm blush, I think looks great on everyone and for myself works for almost every occasion!

Now this next product isn’t part of my everyday quick look, but it has quickly become almost a staple for when I want to bump up my look just a bit. I’m talking about the Becca higlighter by Jaclyn Hill in Champagne Pop. I’ve used it as a highlighter and as an eye shadow. It is just the perfect all around color and multi-use product.

For a quick and easy lip option, I’m a big fan of lip glosses. I probably own more than one person needs to own all in a similar shade of a nude-ish pink. My two favorites this month are the NYX’s Butter Gloss in Creme Brulee, and Rimmel’s new Oh My Gloss! in 160 Stay My Rose. They are both very different. Creme Brulee is a creamy, lightly moisturizing and fairly opaque. I can easily put this on without a mirror and not worry about it ending up all over my face. The Rimmel, is still a newer product that I own. It is a on the sheer side, but I absolutely love this color!

The last two products have been game changers for me. The first is the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray. While I have only used this a handful of times, I can tell that it definitely works. The biggest test with this was a friends wedding. My makeup looked almost perfect at the end of a long night of dancing. The second product is by Nailtiques. It is their oil therapy. It is a nail and cuticle oil. I’ll be the first to admit that I get lazy with putting lotion on my hands and taking care of my cuticles. With winter just around the corner, this has saved my nails and cuticles for the last year. Just after using it 2-3 times in one has transformed and improved my cuticles. This ranges between $9-$10, which for purchasing this well over a year ago, I think is a pretty good deal. I think If I were to use this a couple of times a day, everyday I would probably purchase two bottles a year. I don’t know about you but $20 a year for great and healthy cuticles is pretty darn good. An additional plus is that it smells great too!

Those are my October favorites. I hope that you enjoyed today’s post. What have you been loving? Please share!! Have a great weekend!!
