Fall 2017 Bucket List~Update!!

Hello lovelies! Happy Halloween!! Welcome back! Today I thought I’d share with you what I’ve been up to and how many things I’ve crossed off my fall bucket list. I’ve been having a great time trying to cross off each item on my list. There are 40 items on my list, and so far I’ve accomplished 14 of them!! We are 3 weeks away from Thanksgiving! I know that this week alone, I will be crossing off a few for items. I will say that when I first starting to complete things on the list, I would forget to document it. I will include the few photos that I did take.

Here are the things that I’ve already done this fall:

Bake a pie

Watch a sunset

Enjoy a foggy morning walk

Burn some new candles

Watch a new show

Try a new flavored coffee

Go window shopping

Visit a cornmaze

Go apple picking

Bake rice crispie treats

Eat corn on the cob

Visit a farm/pumpkin farm

Go on a hayride

Make caramel apples

First thing is first, I originally put down to make candy apples on my original list. Did you know that caramel apples and candy apples are completely different? I had no idea about that, so on the completed list I changed it to caramel apples.

Here are the things I still have to do during this fall season:

Have a fall photo shoot

Make a breakfast casserole

Eat candy corn

Go on a bike ride

Create a fall scrapbook

Make a caramel smoothie

Make pumpkin dip

Watch a fall movie

Go thrift shopping

Make a chili

Put together a large puzzle

Roast pumpkin seeds

Make a new Thanksgiving dish

Decorate for fall

Make apple cider

Roast marshmallows/s’mores

Go hiking/naturewalk

Have a bonfire

Make a “thankful for” list

Have a popcorn movie day

Make granola/trail mix

Make pumpkin bread

Paint/carve pumpkins

Have a picnic in the park

Rake leaves for a neighbor

Learn the history of Thanksgiving

There you have it. The things that I’ve been up to the past few weeks, and the things that I need to do soon. What are your fall traditions? Is there something that is on your must do list every year? Let me know in the comments, I’d love to hear from you. That’s all for today. Have a fantastic and safe Halloween night. I’ll see you in my next post.

I do have to say that the weather as yet to catch up with the fact that it is time for leaves changing, crisper air, pumpkin spice lattes, bonfires, and hoodies. It is still hitting 90 degrees here in the Chicagoland area. So in honor of the first day of fall, I’m coming back with my fall bucket list. I had gotten this idea to come up with a “bucket list” from Pinterest, and pulled a bunch of ideas from different posts. Mani Monday: Fall Nail Polishes

This week’s post is all about some of my favorite fall nail colors. I’ve chosen a variety of shades, some may not be expected. However, I feel like if you want to have bright neon nails and it is November go for it! If you want to wear a deep berry tone in July, why not?

  1. Rimmel Lasting Pro Finish in Steel Grey(270)- I love this shade because it is a purple-y toned grey.
  2. O.P.I in Brisbane Bronze- I love this shade because it is the perfect shade for fall. It’s also great for a special occasion and of course a little extra sparkle.
  3. CoverGirl Outlast Stay Brilliant in Sapphire Flare(307)- First I love this formula! The color is a gorgeous deep, not quite navy blue. It is a creme formula and looks classy and elegant on the nail.
  4. Essie in Berry Naughty- I love this brown toned berry. It’s gorgeous for fall and winter. I like this more in the fall because it is the stepping stone for the richer toned reds and berrys that come with the holiday territory.
  5. Essie in The Girls Are Out- Yes, I have included a pinky purpley shade in the group. While it is on the brighter side, I think the creme with just a hint of shimmer in it is perfect for a fall day. It is not a traditional shade, but it is fun for exactly the name of the color, a girls night out!
  6. CoverGirl Glossy Days glosstini in #ElectroGlow(660)- This is the traffic cone orange from a previous Mani Monday post. I love the formula, plus the color is the epitome of fall.

Those are my picks for this fall. What are some of your favorite fall shades? Do you have a favorite formula/brand? Share them below! I would love to hear!
