Sephora VIB Sale Haul

Hello lovelies! Now that the big rush to get in store or online at Sephora, I thought I would share the items that I picked up during the sale. Before I headed out to the store, I asked my mom and sister if there was anything they wanted me to pick up. My sister didn’t need anything, and my mom I kept trying to rack her brain for stuff since her birthday and Mother’s Day is coming up. My mom picked out a couple of things and I also picked up one thing for her as well. Of course if I was picking up stuff for my mom, I had to get myself a couple of things too.

First lets take a look at the few items I picked up for my mom. My mom first picked out the Milk Makeup Holographic Stick in Supernova.  This choice surprised me. I kindly asked if she knew it was probably going to be a purpley holographic shade on the skin. She said she wanted to try it out and it looked cool and if she doesn’t like it, I can have it. All I can say is, GO MOM! She is far more adventurous with makeup than I am. Next up she chose the Clinique Quickliner for Eyes Intense in Intense Midnight. It is a deep almost navy blue. Like I said my mom is much more adventurous with makeup than I am. I know a navy blue isn’t exactly out there as far as liner goes. I actually think the deeper or mid toned blues are becoming more of a standard neutral like black or brown liner. My mom will also be receiving the Sephora Pomegranate eye mask. I have used the pomegranate and I think the rose eye mask as well. I love both of these and I think my mom will really like them. I think the Sephora Collection eye masks are great, they work and they are definitely affordable.

I know I am not alone when walking in to a Sephora, and feel overwhelmed. I knew I was for sure going to purchase a foundation. Last summer I got a sample of the Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Invisible Coverage Foundation. I used it for a wedding that I was in and we took photos outside. I’ll admit I didn’t remove my makeup the night before and it still looked amazing the next morning! So I knew when I had the chance, I was going to pick it up. I got it in the shad Y305, which I think is the tiniest bit too dark for me but it works. The other item that wasn’t from the aisle of doom is the Dior Dior Addict Ultra-Gloss in the shade Tell Me Dior. I can say that I didn’t actually purchase this. This item is once again the result of bringing my boyfriend shopping with me. (This is the last time he is coming with me.) Next I picked up the Dr. Brandt pores no more pore refining primer. This primer is all over the YouTube scene. No matter what primer I use my pores show up so I’m hoping this will help make them look a little smaller or smoother. Lastly, is the Boscia MakeUp BreakUp-Cool Cleansing Oil. This is also one of those YouTube made me buy it items. I’m a slave to makeup removing wipes and I know those aren’t the greatest to remove makeup with consistently, so I decided to get the travel size and see how it works. The last item is a 100 point perk. It is the Dr. Jart+ Premium Beauty Balm SPF 45 in light to medium. I had a foil packet sample of this probably about a year ago and I loved what it did for my skin. I’m hoping if this works out again I just might have to pick it up for a quick out the door type product for the summer.

That’s all everybody. I hope you enjoyed taking a peak into what I picked during the Sephora Spring VIB Sale. I have given myself permission to shop Sephora only three times a year, during the two sales and during my birthday month. I know with my project pan I am on a no buy, but most of the time when I do shop, I shop on a deal. I hope you all have a wonderful week and I’ll see you in my next post.
